# Privacy policy

> How Solved collects, uses, and protects client information during engagements.

Your information stays inside the engagement. We collect what we need to do the work, protect it, limit access to it, and delete it when the file is closed.

## Scope

This policy covers information you provide to Solved, Inc. when you inquire about our services, enter an engagement, or communicate with our team. It applies to our website, intake channels, and all client-facing systems.

We built this service for people who value discretion. Our data practices follow that same standard.

## What we collect

We collect only what we need to evaluate and run an engagement.

* Contact details such as name, email, phone number, and company affiliation
* Information you provide about your situation during intake and throughout the engagement
* Billing and payment records required to process fees
* Communications between you and your assigned team
* Technical data from our website, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited

## How we use it

Your information is used to respond to inquiries, scope engagements, assign operators, deliver services, process payment, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell client data. We do not use client situations for marketing.

We may use anonymized operational data internally to improve how we run engagements. That data cannot be traced back to you or your company.

## Who sees it

Access is limited to people who need it for your engagement. That includes your account lead, assigned operators, and internal staff who handle billing or compliance.

We share information with third parties only when required to deliver the service or comply with law. That may include payment processors, secure communication tools, or legal counsel bound by confidentiality obligations.

We do not share client information with other clients, partners, or the public.

## Retention and deletion

When an engagement closes, we retain records only as long as needed for legal, tax, and operational requirements. You may request deletion of materials that are not subject to a retention obligation.

Upon request, we return or destroy documents, communications, and files according to the terms of your engagement agreement.

## Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and need-to-know permissions across our systems. Enterprise clients may request additional security measures, including dedicated channels and clean room review environments.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach that affects your data, we will notify you promptly and take immediate steps to contain it.

## Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will not retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights.
